After some days of readjusting from the difference of timezones and some movement of places and shifting of my things between Punggol and Highland Road, I have finally landed in the parish of the Immaculate Heart of Mary and my new 'home'.
Temporary at least. I am here to help out Fr Luke and the parish while the parish priest, Fr Joseph Tan, is recuperating in a hospital after a major operation. My time here has been put at around 3 to 4 months.
All my 'barang-barang' from Rome has safely arrived and are now in the parish. As for myself, I am slowly reorientating to this new environment and meeting people from a whole new community that is distinct from my previous parish of Holy Family.
I thank all those who have welcomed me back to Singapore and hopefully we'll find some time to catch up!

The teochew porridge at kovan centre opposite IHM is good ... and durians too. Savour the local food! i bet you miss them! Olivia
Wow Fr, you're nearer than I thought! IHM is not my parish but I try to go there for weekday mass if I can get off earlier from work or during school vacation when my boy has no catechism classes at my own parish.
It's a great place! And yes, the teochew porridge is heavenly, so is the relatively new Hock Lam Beef Noodles and of course, the famous always-long-Q Punggol Nasi Lemak is just a stone's throw!

Eeverything is happening to you just the way I wanted to expect. Good for now. I must wish you all a happy restart to your new old life. Your old guy is struggling to put up with exorcism.
