Miss Eh! Eh!

One thing must be said about little children besides them being accepted as 'little terrors' that they are is that they are utterly open and have no sense of double-talk. They are all innocent and honest beings on this earth until WE adults tell them otherwise.

I had the privilege to encounter a little tyke which I had nicknamed Miss Eh! Eh! (aka Miss Mm! Mm!) because she speaks and makes noises like that and points to communicate her demands. She surprisingly took to my presence rather well and I had no problem carrying her around. That's why playing with my little nephews, nieces, my godson and his siblings came in very handy after all!

While 'enjoying' Miss Eh! Eh! I also managed to relieve her babysitter for a while from the incessant attention she had to give to the child. For a few short moments I took over that duty. However, it was a good experience for me to get in touch with, as it gave a new perspective to how I ought to look at young children and infants. I don't know what Miss Eh! Eh! is going to be 20 or 30 years from now or the kind of person she is going to be. For now, what matters is that I had enjoyed the sense of pure innocence and openness that is usually missing in us adults but now exuding from this infant.

Miss Eh! Eh! came into the world under trying situations and it is to the credit of her mother and the grandmother that she is now a cute and beautiful child, which may very well be the saving grace that family will need in the years ahead. Miss Eh! Eh! can be the sign for many other struggling families to know that God never gives up on HIS children.

"For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth takes its name." Ephesians 3: 14 (NRSV)

FATHERLY Instinct, Huh? Sorrie i dun like KIDS. Nuisance, KIDS. dun like the idea of getting tied dwn by em'. u hear neighbours or pple u noe "Everything they do is for their kids, or i can't go out a/f work i need to go take care of my son." - Fr Bosco used to say if u have a toddler with you the WHOLE DAY u will have to put dwn all yr work and stuffs u want to do to BABYSIT the toddler, if kitchen got boiling water, do u tink u will let the toddler go near? he used toddlers to illistrate abt "if u know yr youth is going to get into trouble - & the trouble is the BOILING WATER, will u let yr youth go near the BOILING WATER?" The toddler is the youth. hahaha..........

Go figure out, cleaning up kids - feeding NOT ONI PLAYING with them, fr aloy, helo !!! u oni play with them but u dun clean them up discpline them, sick u dun get to sleep.........sendg them to paedatrician.even though my parents love to have ONE to play with, they tink it's "toy" maybe heehee...........it's very different, wat my nephews and nieces ask for my mum as grandaunt gves, she treats them as if her own grandkids kind of thingy. parents always say dun treat my house as CHILDCARECENTRE, but in the end it still becmes a CHILDCARECENTRE.

Career is 1st for ME.

Was at OLPS today for Sunset Mass...hmm...there were some announcements which Fr Greg made after mass that caught my attention...

Something about the Novena to St Jude...

Hmm...he was saying (didnt' really catch all) but he said someone believed that you need to pray to St Jude 6 times a day, 9 days in a row without a fail and then make 9 copies of the prayer or dunno wat and leave it in church or send it to church or what...he showed us the 9 copies he received thru mail or watever...

Another interesting thingie...apparently 2 sundays ago, during mass...when Fr Greg was about to give a homily, someone suddenly went in front of the church to create a scene...heard that vulgarities were used...this was becoz two cars belonging to the parishioners were blocking his house or what...OOPS...and worse still, some people park along the roads and end up making the roads impassable to traffic...hmmm...

Heya,

Well, this incident is not really funny...heard that vulgarities were shouted...

Well...hope other churches can learn from this mistakes of OLPS and be more considerate...well...as Christians...i guess we should all the more be CONSIDERATE to people around us, at least do not inconvenience people to such extent...

I do pity the guy who created the scene, though his actions were a little too extreme.

Seems that OLPS has this carpark problem...since dunno how long ago...Fr Greg has been imploring parishioners about this carpark problem. Oh well...

This time, My heart really goes out to the person who created the scene. Inconsiderate actions.

Sometimes it just makes me wonder -

The congregation actually has the cheek to scrutinize and complain about anything in church.Pray tell me, who should complain against these Sunday Catholics who do nothing but come to church only every Sunday as obligated, to let their hp rings, to sleep during the sermons, & to COMPLAIN about the sermons, and everything else.

They don't realize how tough things can get going in church... Sometimes I just wish like telling them, "would you like to take my place and see whether any rantings & hollering from others would be tolerable?

Instead of complaining & criticising, why not help us? By your actions, not your mouth.

The recent Catholic News speaks a lot too.

'nuff said.

I don't apologize for being super direct here.
