Here I am writing my thesis and using contributions from an era that hark back several centuries, but not necessary outmoded nor irrelevant, to address a current situation that assists those seeking spiritual direction. It has certainly been a challenge to put into writing the ideas and teachings that evolve from Scripture, the saints and Church which overlap one another. That they complement, support and give life to one another is a fascinating and insightful exercise in faith and reason.
However, when someone decides to bring the future or some semblance of it, no matter how far fetch it could be, into the presence and can even make it so real and plausible, we have an insightful exercise of creativity that pushes the envelope of how we would want our future to be - maybe.
