There was a Confirmation Mass for 70 adults who were made complete through the anointing of Chrism and further strenghtened by the power of the Holy Spirit. It marked the end of their journey of searching and the beginning of a responsible undertaking to be effective witnesses of Christ. And they still have a long way to go...
It is an interesting time too to consolidate the state of the RCIA and the renewal of its team members who have played an important role in coordinating this incredible journey. The current team members are already contemplating of moving on to other things and hence the need to reorganise and geting new blood. Some potential new members have already been identified. The next year may see an interesting crop of dedicated people to bring another whiff of fresh air to the RCIA journey.
Meanwhile, that is one big burden off my shoulder for the time being. ;-)
