When It Rains...
We're moving on into March and my duties as Deacon is beginning to take more prominence. Already the demands needed for looking after the RCIA groups and the sessions that go along with them are taxing enough. Added to all that are the homilies I need to prepare and give on weekdays (Monday evenings and Wednesday mornings) and, when rostered, on Sundays.
But that is all part and parcel of the ministry and these were all foreseen since my seminary days. They are all coming to fruition now and their effects and implications will need to be reflected and discerned upon. Sunday will always be a rather trying day for me as there will be all kinds of things to do and people to see and deal with. Today, especially was the Rite of Acceptance and we received into the chruch about 60 catechumens and 2 candidates. The work is always there. So we continue to pray for them that they be supported by the community and blessed in their journey towards their baptism.
Have a blessed day and wishing all peace and joy!
