A Roman Sunday

Now I am a part-time computer repair person....

There were those who, before, had no knowledge of anything to do with a computer, suddenly found themselves acquiring one when they got back here to the college All this for the necessity of classwork, etc. And why not? But, since they have come to know that I am 'able' to help them to set up and use the functions that a laptop can provide, especially in the realm of Internet, I have been thrust into the limelight lately in this area. :-P

So, it was troubleshooting and installing s/w for quite a number of laptops over this past week! The main items were setting up the Internet connection, installing free anti-virus and Voip (e.g. Skype and JustVoip) related s/w.

Because of this, I haven't had the proper time worked out yet to do some proper revision for my own lessons of the past week. Even my notes are a little scattered and I am also down with a slight flu because of the weather. Speaking of the weather, it is qute apparent that the climate is subtly changing and wearing thicker or several layers of clothings is already the norm. :-P Today, there seem to be a little problem with the supply of the hot water and leaving us only the use of the cold one. The experience was horribly chilling! :-P

It's Sunday 11.53 a.m. here. I am still alive and I guess, that's as good as it can get and something to be grateful for! :-D
