The Interviews
The recent interviews of the catechumens in preparation for their Rite of Election and onwards for baptism has been quite a trying period for all including the priests doing the interview.

The catechumens are slowly getting the hang of things about the Catholic faith yet still not enough to fully enlighten them to their satisfaction. Few a still struggling with what they are experiencing and some are a little lost with what they have gone through till now. All however have felt in their own unique way the very touch of the hand of God in their lives that made them wanted to come into RCIA in the beginning.

Through my interview sessions with the batch of catechumens and candidates I was assigned, I myself have come to know the movement of God working through this journey that have made a difference in these people's lives as well as mine. It is found in the deeper levels of our life that speaks to us of God being with and for us especially in our difficult times. Pray that eventually all the catechumens be able to take that special moment to commit themselves to being called a child of God!
