Beginnings Filled With Interesting Promises...
As the schools are out for the break, I am taking a good respite from Catechism classes and using whatever free time available to take stock of what I've been doing all this while. It's been a lot of doing and, perhaps, too few reflecting...Firstly, a new environment at Holy Spirit as we moved in to the new church premises. It is always a sad moment when we leave behind a familiar surrounding or a loved one after so many years. Such was the feeling amongst many a parishioner as they attended the last Mass that Saturday morning in the old Holy Spirit church - an occasion that was celebrated by the Archbishop together with the priests of the parish. Even the heavens seemed to be crying as it poured down drizzle and enveloping the surrounding in a wet and moody atmosphere. However no sooner than closing the old church and processing into the new premises, together with the Blessed Sacrament, did the occasion began to brighten up as the vastness of the new church overwhelmed all who entered and participated in the procedings of the placing of the Blessed Sacrament into its new tabernacle. A new chapter for the parishioners of Holy Spirit has begun.

Next, elsewhere more mundane. Handed in my application for the order of Diaconate. The nest step in the hands of the Archbishop and his consultors. My next hurdle now is the Bacca exam that is coming at the end of Nov, early Dec. What that will bring is anybody's guess! For now I'm contented with just ending the day with a 'thank-you, God!' and given the opportunity to make a difference in someone's life.

Now, that Blogger has an offering for some spiffy and affordable hosting, I may just take up their offer and go for the Blog*Spot Plus. I may then be able to integrate all my webpages into the same environment and still be able to call my own space. Let's see, what happens...
