Night of the Howling Sems
It is night time, eve of Labour's Day. We get to have the evening to ourselves, either playing some games (e.g. volleyball, basketball) or watching a VCD. Instead, imagine if you will, the rain and sound of thunder in the background. Next, add some discordant noises from the karaoke set as sung by the handful of seminarians as let their hair down on the eve of Labour's Day. Then, top it all with the others who are trying to sleep or praying in the prayer room. The voices are still ululating downstairs as they try to belt out the 'Say You, Say Me' number. Thank goodness, this only happens once in a blue, blue moon!...
All this after an outing today to the CAEC and SPI. Had an enlightening time there. Found out several departments and services we never knew existed! I get the feeling the parishes are missing on a great deal of good resources there. Saw the heart of the Veritas.org system, too. In all an interesting and fruitful visit.
The howling continues...(everything I do, I'll do it for you)
The Day God Saved Me Through My Hero
-
The slow, silent and mostly invisible hand of God working in our lives
sometimes punches through the veil to let us know, "I AM always with you."
