Life after The Ordination...
We have a local Singaporean to take the reins of the Archbishop's office for the diocese of Singapore. The ceremony and Mass that made up the entire celebration yesterday (Sun, 7th Oct) was grand and not to mention long too. 3 hours worth of them. The seminarians did themselves proud for serving well during the ordination and that was my first time experiencing, let alone serving, in such an historical event. Holding the mitre then didn't seem too much of a sweat but the knowledge of the timing and sequence of giving and receiving the mitre can be quite a confusing affair, sometimes to the point of being a nightmare!

Anyway, all is done and over with. Glad that we all survived the day. It was one looong Sunday! Following the ordination at the Indoor Stadium was the dinner at Suntec City's ballroom. By the time we all got back it was close to midnight.

Today's classes were full of half-asleep and yawning seminarians. No rest for the weary. Our Ecclesiology course resumed as we had recruited Fr Moses Lui from Sabah to finish conducting the courses after the late Fr Payne, OFM. Fr Moses will take us about 14 to 16 hours this week and another block of lessons in the month of November, before we call it quits with this course.

Meanwhile, America starts off round one in their strike against the Taliban today. The 'war against terrorism' has begun. Can somebody tell me if this is going to solve the matter?...
