Violence Begets Violence...
The events this day went down in history as tragic and monumentally 'evil'. Checked the blogs around the Net and they all have the WTC terrorists attack in NY and the Pentagon in Washington writeup. The entire news today on tv and radio were given to this violent attack that shook the Americans up. While no one has claimed responsibility for the attacks, I wouldn't be surprised if the Muslim extremist groups were to be blamed. Already Osama bin Laden is high on the list and should America retaliate, it's going to bring more violence. The vicious circle never ends. My condolences goes out to those innocent victims who were at the wrong place, at the wrong time when this happened. Is America paying a heavy and costly price for 'control of world peace and prosperity' under its own terms? Bush and his goverment sure have their hands full with this tragedy. Looking at the title of my blog and the short description of it, I can't help feeling how 'prophetic' they have become, especially after the WTC/Pentagon attacks. Has the world gone mad?...The Seminary prayed for the victims (and for the violence to stop), in this morning's intentions during Lauds.

Had my assessment this afternoon. Nothing extraordinary yet comforting to know that I am moving along the right track. Of course, there is still some work to be done and more resolute motive to do God's will in my vocation. The Seminary prayed the rosary this evening with intentions going to the bishop-elect on his upcoming ordination. May he lead the archdiocese towards a more collaborative and united community.

Tomorrow is another day. For some, it doesn't do away with the sorrows of yesterday...
