Ho-hum!
Usually nothing out-of-the-ordinary ever happens on Mondays. It is also teh day where we are totally off form lectures. Pretty quiet and peaceful. Unless of course you count a visit by Fr Gerald O'Collins to the seminary a point on the 'happening' scale. He met with us bunch of Theology students for a while. An Australian Jesuit and a Dean of one of the faculty in the Gregorian University in Rome, he just finished his series of seminars on Christology at the SPI. Nice and pleasant fellow. His accent takes a little getting use to.
This night also the Liturgical/Spiritual Life meeting. Short and sweet, over and done with. My name got suggested as one possible candidate for choirmaster next year. God's a joker...
The Irrepressibility of Innocence
-
Who was this extraordinary young woman, Joan of Arc? And why should it
matter that, nearly six centuries after her death, that homage be paid to
her memory?
