The Two Weeks

I am back on Singaporean soil after a 2 week hiatus to Malaysia and connecting with my family there.

The nephews have grown and will rule the world one day. The haze has been a constant unwanted companion for the duration of my stay there. Caught up with two old school friends and the reacquaintance was welcomed - one married with a 3 year old son, while the other is now working for Sun Microsystems. Caught the running nose and cough, too. Savoured the cold air and living of Genting Highlands.

All in all, it was a bit of everything, this 2 week break of mine. On one hand, I wish I had a longer break but on the other, I dread a long break for that means I have to cater for a heavier workload when I begin my usual routine after that! :-P
