Christ is risen! Alleluia! Amen!
It's with one big sigh of relief that all the work and activities that led to the Easter celebrations are over! I celebrated for the 1st time as the main celebrant for the Easter vigil. There were many things to remember and I was also responsible for those who were preparing for baptism. Thank goodness I had a good coordinating team to handle the nitty and gritty of the RCIA baptism. Then, of course, Deacon Christopher had his 1st Exultet experience. After this year, this ancient hymn won't be too much of a problem for him. He is an inspiration to all tone deaf people who claim they can't sing, there's still hope... *grin*
A little residue of Easter came up this morning when I had to do an Easter service for the girls over at IJ Katong (Pri) at 8.00 a.m. I thought it was only the Catholics and to be held in their chapel. Turned out that it was the entire school and all the teachers! Caught off guard by that but nonetheless managed to gave them a general reflection to take home for the rest of the day. The students received a of packet of Easter goodies (sweets) as they left for class.
Rushed from there to NUS LT27 for a supposed meeting with the rep from the halls. Turned out we have gotten our date and time wrong! Not today at 10.00 a.m. but Friday at the same time...bleaagh! It drizzled as I got back.
The day continues to look cloudy and wet but I am not complaning. The heat over the past week was rather bothersome. Now, I'll just rest and recuperate a little... Happy Easter!

LT27!... The good ol' LT at the Sci fac... and one of the most commonly used by the (then) DISCS students.
Has it been that long? Long for me, even longer for you. *grin*
"Memories are..." *convulsions*
