A day of all sorts...
First there was the news that Malcolm our library staff has passed away. He had fought a long battle with cancer. Always cheerful, he was bright and optimistic till the end. May the good Lord welcome him into his kingdom of everlasting peace and happiness. Farewell my friend! He was 34.
Then we have the returned of Fr Bernard Pham from Vietnam. He is staying here for a night before he goes off for his trip to China with some friends. Yesterday, was with some ex-Reuters colleagues of mine at one of their home. Catherine was the host and the food was certainly overflowing. It was because of Cat's idea for a website for her neighbourhood group that I did up a sample site for her to consider. So, much of my time was on Dreamweaver and some Flash programming today. Oh, and someone asked me about 'ecumenism'. I'll let this site do the job.
Would tomorrow be more interesting?...
